Me: [referring to Simon cleaning up all the ladies' dishes] What a gentleman!
Maddie: Simon is always a gentleman!
Me: [scoffing] Simon is always a gentleman when it's a full moon and the crickets are singing and a fat lady has just fallen from a balcony and a baby was recently rescued from drowning by a lifeguard with rippling muscles and long, flowing, golden hair.
Lucy: ...is tonight a full moon?
