Figuring out why your printer won't work isn't fun at 2 o'clock in the morning . In fact, nothing is fun at 2 o'clock in the morning. Except for sleeping. And blogging about how everything other than blogging and sleeping isn't fun.

You know what else isn't fun? Trying to go to sleep after posting about how sleeping is fun and then realizing that your post contained a misplaced modifier and feeling the irresistible compulsion to fix it. So much so that you can't sleep. So then you have to get up and fix it. And then it turns into If You Give a Mouse a Cookie situation and you absolutely must relay your woes about fixing it in an addendum. Especially when you want to reference nostalgia inducing children's literature and you're so darn tired that just can't remember if that greedy little mouse got a cookie or a muffin. So you have to Google it just to make sure. Because you're pretty sure it's cookie, but muffin is an alliteration and is therefore a viable contender. And as a result, you spend a whole lot more time NOT sleeping. Yeah. That isn't fun.
