Take it back now, y'all

Remember Thanksgiving? That holiday that we celebrate the fourth Thursday in November to commemorate the Pilgrims and Indians and *Squanto the Navajo and being thankful for what we have? The one that I have yet to blog about?  Yeah, I feel pretty bad about that, but once I got back to Provo, it was like real life (and, ok, my birthday. I'm selfish) was thrust upon me once more and I didn't have the time nor energy to report on my weekend in the Rainy Evergreen State.

It was a wonderful weekend full of sleep, family, fun, and food. I was very grateful to my grandparents for hosting Preston and I and was excited to have the chance to see all of my family. Despite the perpetual overcast, Washington is a beautiful state; I could definitely see myself living there someday if Berlin or Bar Harbor don't work out for me.

Having a break from school was so welcomed and so needed. My brain was probably going to explode, which would have been a shame because then my roommates would have a huge mess to clean up for cleaning checks. And it'd just be plain gross. So I'm glad that didn't happen.

Anyway, time is short. I'm supposed to be writing essays right now. So, I'll share a few pictures and then bid you adieu until next time. And knowing me, next time will be before you know it.

*For the record, I'm aware that Squanto wasn't a Navajo. That statement was for the entertainment of my family and was intended to inspire Simon to bring up every story about the Durfinator that illustrates her stupidity. Have fun with that, Mom and Dad! (:
